"Speech Pathology is a very dynamic and diverse industry. Over the past years I’ve had to opportunity to work in a range of different settings (i.e. hospitals, clinics and schools) with people of all ages. You never know what you’ll fall in love with – so give everything a try."
What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?
"Seeing how happy people are when they achieve something new. Being able to help someone on their journey is extremely worthwhile. It makes the work really meaningful. "
What makes you feel most empowered and why?
"I work with adolescents with communication difficulties, that feel like they can’t express themselves properly and are often misunderstood. I love teaching young people to advocate for themselves, and that their voice can be heard. It’s really empowering for me too. "
Name your must-have workwear pieces.
"A blazer! Hands down my number one must-have piece. I have a few coloured different blazers and wear them on rotation. I just find they are no-fuss, yet stylish. I love to pair mine with jeans. "
